The Pisapio Scholarship supports students from the West Kootenay region who are pursuing an undergraduate degree and who are in their 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of study. The Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island is offering the Lisa Huus Bursary which assists youth with disabilities in undertaking or continuing post-secondary education at an accredited institution in British Columbia. Funds can be used for tuition, textbooks, equipment, transportation, residence, and support worker costs.

A.F. Timber Co Ltd, is pleased to offer the Kyle Levy - Pride in Logging Bursary, an annual bursary of $1,500 to a student entering the field of Logging or a first or second year full time Forestry or Trade program at a Canadian College, Technical Institute or University.

The Hans Klinkenberg Memorial Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to students in the geomatics sciences at technical institutes and community colleges in Canada. Students may apply prior to February 15 of each year as outlined in the description and application form available on the Canadian Institute of Geomatics website. Awards are presented annually in amounts ranging from $500 to $2000. Submissions are judged on the basis of scholastic achievement, recommendations and the personal statement requested. Winners receive the financial award, a certificate of award and a one-year student membership in the Canadian Institute of Geomatics.

The Early Childhood Educators of BC offers two bursary programs for BC ECE students and professionals. These programs are designed to increase the number of students entering, re-establishing and graduating from recognized ECE post-secondary programs.

Scholars receive $2000.00 for their participation in the program, and are fully funded to attend two Ch’nook Gatherings.
