This scholarship is open to any active Co-op member (including staff), or the child of an active Co-op member. Preference will be given to applicants pursuing studies in food, agriculture, environment, cooperatives, community development or alternative health, but all are encouraged to apply. The chosen recipient will have made a concerted effort in her/his/their personal statement to explain how this scholarship will help them make the world a better place and will connect this back to the Kootenay Co-op’s Vision, Mission, and Values. The application form must be filled out and submitted online at kootenay.coop/scholarship by the April 25, 2020 deadline.
